Before posting a message here please consider if this is the correct venue. If you wish to discuss me (SSSB), my edits (read the second paragragh if you have an issue with an edit request I implemented) or you wish to bring my attention to a certain matter, this is the correct venue (there are other cases where this is the correct venue).
However, this is not the correct venue to make edit requests. These requests should be made on the talk page of the page which you would like to be edited, if you request an edit on a page in which I have an interest it will appear on my watchlist, I will see it. If you have a problem with an edit request I implemented, please consider if it might not be better to respond where the edit request was made (you may use {{ping}} or {{u}} to attract my attention). Thank you,

Russian drivers were really banned Anlmñ (talk) 06:56, 22 April 2024 (UTC)
- @Anlmñ: I don't think they were. If they were, the onus is on you to provide reliable sources. See WP:BURDEN. SSSB (talk) 10:03, 22 April 2024 (UTC)

Administrators' newsletter – May 2024[edit]
News and updates for administrators from the past month (April 2024).
- Phase I of the 2024 requests for adminship review has concluded. Several proposals have passed outright and will proceed to implementation, including creating a discussion-only period (3b) and administrator elections (13) on a trial basis. Other successful proposals, such as creating a reminder of civility norms (2), will undergo further refinement in Phase II. Proposals passed on a trial basis will be discussed in Phase II, after their trials conclude. Further details on specific proposals can be found in the full report.
- Partial action blocks are now in effect on the English Wikipedia. This means that administrators have the ability to restrict users from certain actions, including uploading files, moving pages and files, creating new pages, and sending thanks. T280531
- The arbitration case Conflict of interest management has been closed.
- This may be a good time to reach out to potential nominees to ask if they would consider an RfA.
- A New Pages Patrol backlog drive is happening in May 2024 to reduce the number of unreviewed articles in the new pages feed. Currently, there is a backlog of over 15,000 articles awaiting review. Sign up here to participate!

Just a thought[edit]
I know it was probably an accident, but maybe be more careful not to refer to an user as he on a noticeboard discussion where the behaviour being reported is them repeatedly removing someone's comment referring to said user as he. – 2804:F14:8085:6201:6014:787:F7A8:B566 (talk) 21:45, 25 May 2024 (UTC)
- I was careful, but I am still in the habit of using "he" where gender is unspecified (which is grammatical acceptable in English: "used to refer to a person whose gender is not known or not important in that situation") and I made a mistake, which happens. SSSB (talk) 02:55, 26 May 2024 (UTC)
Thanks for fixing my blunder. I meant to put the cn at the end of the first paragraph in the Formula One#Race section. Cheers Adakiko (talk) 19:52, 4 June 2024 (UTC)
