English: From 2014 to 2018, over half of all DIT's education and research provision will transfer to the new DIT City Centre campus at Grangegorman.
The DIT New City Centre Campus - Grangegorman is part of the overall Grangegorman Development Project which aims to create a vibrant new city quarter with a diverse mix of uses on the former St. Brendan's Hospital grounds in Dublin city centre. The delivery of the overall project is the responsibility of the Grangegorman Development Agency (GDA), a statutory agency established in 2006 by the Irish Government to plan for and implement a complex, multi-phased development that will have a huge impact the Dublin 7 and Dublin 1 areas.
